Cryin’ Shame Band
Thursday, 8 June 2017 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Gig Navigation

Cryin’ Shame Band provide a fresh take on some blues rock classics courtesy of Dougal Speir and the Mad Professor aka Electrolux Murray backed by a formidable rhythm section.
‘Doog’ is a regular at the blues club. His blues playing is gutsy and rhythmic; his voice is soft and soulful. Warwick “Electrolux” Murray is one hell of an energetic bluesman! Originally from Birmingham UK, now resident in NZ, he has played with blues artists Steve Gibbons, Trevor Burton and the E Numbers, and supported dozens of top level acts including Steve Earle and UB40. While living in Fiji he held residencies at Suva’s Birdland and Traps. He’s toured in Chile with some of the finest jazz and blues musicians in Latin America.
Band Lineup:
Dougal Speir – guitar/vox
Warwick ‘Electrolux’ Murray – guitar/harmonica/blueskele/
George Barris – bass
Roger Watkins – drums
Special Guest – Del Thomas.
This gig will precede CHRIS CAIN and his band starting 10 pm!
