Two Bluesy Blondes

Erna Ferry and Julie Lamb in a mash up of blonde hair and bluesy lungs… From trad to not so much… The song list is varied, and the band is grand!
Stephen Fisher (Manawatu Standard) had this to say in 2016:
“The women worked together superbly, bouncing off each other in performance, each inspiring the other, revelling in their soulful and down-to-earth blues sound prevalent both on their own and together.
All this infectious music-making needs a really great band, and in this gig we were not left wanting as Andrew Richardson (drums), Callum Hazlitt Black (bass), Deane Hunter (guitar), Pieter Bos (keys) and Andrew Clouston on the saxophone all had great fun. They provided a magnificent supporting sound, adding to the very essence of this classic music-making with some magnificent solo work across the lineup. … it was impossible to remain still as this high-energy sultry concert took flight, sending the audience home ‘high’ from the very best of blues.”
