They may be called $4.50, but this Wellington High School lineup is worth far more. Ferris Vautier (piano), Lewis Mackie (guitar), Izy Iversen (vocals), James Punter (drums) and Nathaniel Elliott (bass) arrive at Capital Blues fresh from turning heads at the Manawatū Jazz Festival, and they’re ready to bring that energy to the blues.

This gig sits right inside the kaupapa of the club, giving young players a stage and a chance to stretch out in front of a discerning audience.
