For more than three decades, the Red Dog Saloon Band has been a cornerstone of the Wellington music scene. Their sound is steeped in tradition, shaped by experience, and powered by a shared passion for the blues.

Dougal Speir – One of New Zealand’s most respected blues guitarists. Known for his raw tone and expressive playing, Dougal’s contribution to the genre runs deep.

Dave Murphy – A master of acoustic blues and a compelling vocalist. Dave always performs with integrity and soul.

Andrew Richardson is stepping in for this gig as Roger Watkins is away in Poland finishing his next book! Andrew is a seasoned drummer with deep roots in the blues, jazz, and swing scenes. You’ll see him in Steely DNA, 888 band, the Carol Bean Ensemble and holding the beat for Girls Rock the Boys. Tasty as!
