Auckland songstress Catherine ‘Cat’ Tunks hails from the wild west coast of Auckland’s Piha Beach and is a NZ queen of Southern Soul.
With a powerhouse voice that moves from rock-inspired roots to ethereal gospel blues, jazz, and country.
She joins Wellington drummer & percussionist Michael Barker (Swamp Thing), collaborating on an original swamp-style blues experience with Auckland’s Alex Griffith on bass, and from the deep south of Central Otago Gavin Dowling on guitar.
