Michael Barker

This week we have a double bill and Michael will be opening the show on Friday.

Michael’s career as a drummer and percussionist has spanned some 20+ bands (including The John Butler Trio, Split Enz, Neil and Tim Finn, The Black Sorrows). Combining this with his orchestral percussion training along with a passion for world beat and alternative music, make the foundation of his eclectic, captivating sound.

Americana-style best describes Michael’s solo show. His original songs tell stories of a life well lived, recounting childhood fishing tales, immortality, and finding love again.
