Oscar LaDell

Oscar is not to be missed. His voice is full of soul and grit, taking you back to Chicago and the great blues singers of the ‘50s and ‘60s, yet he’s only 23.

He will be performing some of his own songs, plus blues classics from that period. His versions of songs by artists like BB King, Guitar Slim, Muddy Waters, and Otis Rush aren’t simply covers. They are faithful renditions and interpretations and will please any blues fan.

He moved to Australia late last year and is back for just a few shows. Get to see him while you can because he might not be back here for a long while. You won’t regret seeing him, but you will regret it if you miss out seeing him.

The band will be Steve Moodie on bass, Mike Crawford on organ and Richard Te One on drums.
