Pip Payne and the Playboys

A big welcome back for Pip Payne and the band.

Pip is always popular at Capital Blues with his down-home, slide resonator guitar work. He creates a truly authentic sound coupled with some great arrangements of classic blues and rock songs.  He is how The Stones would have sounded if they had stayed in the blues.

He is joined by long-time collaborator, Wayne Mason on piano. Wayne is always in demand and has played at Capital Blues in loads of line-ups, as well as other venues throughout the country.

Completing the band is the solid rhythm of Roger Watkins on drums and the mighty Miklin Halsted on bass.
