Pip Payne

Following a few Wayne Mason / Pip Payne duo gigs up the coast, we thought a spot of boogie-woogie / slide guitar blues wouldn’t go astray in the Capital.

Wayne has graced the boards of the blues club in loads of lineups, and this time he will doing a damn fine job of adding key colour.

Pip has made slide playing his own and appears to be embracing some new material from his English routes. Damn!!

At some point in the proceedings, backline blues club bedrock Roger Watkins and Elliot Fuimoano will join these two with some damnably good rhythms.
