Ras Judah & Culture Embassy

Ras Judah and Culture Embassy is a 10-piece Wellington-based band of varying cultural backgrounds, hence the name.

The band has been playing since 2013 and features musicians from around the globe including Botswana, Cuba, Ghana, Japan and Kiwi-born Indian, Malaysian, and Greek backgrounds.

The cultural diversity of the band is reflected in the sound of their music. They play a foot-tapping fusion of upbeat Afro-Folk, Reggae, Jazz, Latin, Brit/Euro-Folk and Kiwiana tunes.
