Youtube playlist of NZ blues featuring Humankindness

Sunday, 17 May 2020 - Saturday, 23 May 2020

To remind you that we are here – a weekly YouTube playlist of NZ blues gigs –
Oh,  and a small as itty bitty gig guide….

While there is no doubt you can do this all by yourself – it’s fun!
Each playlist is about an hour* long.
*(Which is about how long it takes to find the online gigs!)

This week: Some lovely discoveries…

Hmmmm – this week I had the miraculous idea to search for NZ Blues Musicians. It was an incredibly sparse outcome – but it took me down some fabulous rabbit holes.

Clips from a festival or two, some familiar songs (unavoidable when many videos are of jam nights) the discovery of Humankindness, the funny stage jokes of the Legacy band and JT, the lovely guitars of Nick Brightwell and Alexander Luck and stunning keys from Simen Taylor (Darcy Perry band) Wayne Mason and Dayle Jellyman… Horn sections of might from King Leo and the David Feehan Band – and then me – because I could. (I’d already discovered me though. I’m right here.)

Thanks again for the lovely feedback you’re sending – makes it all worthwhile!  Here’s the link…
